Serve The City Norfolk

Serve the City (STC) Norfolk, is an off shoot of a project begun in Brussels over 4 years ago when a few people decided to find practical ways to lovingly help the people of their city.  A few summers later people from all around the world were flying in to spend two weeks working on projects ranging from basketball camps for refugee children to handing out clothes to homeless people on the streets.  STC Norfolk hopes to do the same thing here in our city.  

Many people have the desire to "give back" or to do "something for others" but often lack the specific focus or entry point.  STC is a way to start with small, practical projects over a brief period of time that will make a difference in people's lives.  Although STC is organized by people who are followers of Jesus Christ as an expression of love for Him to all people, it is open to everyone.  Your motive doesn't have to be our motive; we can still do great things together.  All you need is a willing heart.  Want to see what it looks like when we come together?  Check out a video of STC Norfolk 2008.
